Nova Scotia - Hazard / Risk Determination Workshop
Facilitator: Dave Gouthro, CRSP, CHSC, CHSO
A different approach to hazard recognition, teaching by real life examples using court cases where due diligence failed. A quick review of hazard-risk determination, assessment goals, misconceptions & being compliant versus meeting the minimum standard. This is not about detailed assessments, in groups attendees will list their concerns from a risk management / due diligence perspective with the case presented. We will then review excerpts from judges’ transcripts (from the cases used) of the charges they were found guilty of.
Location: 201 Brownlow Avenue (Safety Services Nova Scotia) When: March 19, 2020 / Noon to 2:00 pm
A light lunch will be served at noon followed by Dave's presentation at 12:30.
