Details: Manufacturing Ergonomic Risk Evaluation Tool (MERET)
A new ergonomic assessment tool has been developed by Andrew Dolhy, CPE in partnership with Motor Coach Industries and supported by a grant from the Research and Workplace Innovation Program of the Workers Compensation Board of Manitoba. This assessment tool provides a quantitative risk evaluation score for both existing jobs as well as tasks in the development stage of production. Andrew will explain the tool’s risk categories, how to use the excel-based program and the validity and reliability testing that went into the MERET at this session.
