7:30am:  Registration and Vendor Fair

8:00am: Welcome and Safety Moment (Emcee: Andrew Davis)

8:10am: Kresk Protocol and the Calgary Police Service - In late 2017, CPS changed their protocols to ensure that Detectives are now assigned to criminally investigate any life altering injury or death at workplace incidents.   CPS Superintendent Sergeant Cliff O'Brien will talk to us about where CPS fits into the process and what the Kresk Protocol is.

9:15am:  Updated COR Partnerships Audit Protocols in Alberta - Have you gone through your external COR Audit yet under the new protocol? What can we expect? Why the changes?  Ian Hooper, Director of Partnerships in Injury Reduction for Alberta Labour and his colleagues Jennyfer Harms and Tracey Pelley will take us through the new process and its inception.

10:15am: FEATURE WORKSHOP - Nutrition at Work? Why Not! - Join us for our exciting two hour feature workshop with Registered Dietitian Chelsey Love as she gives us some rationale for why we need to be including nutrition education in our corporate wellness programs and also some ideas on how we might do that. There might also be some mythbusting!

12:30pm:  Buffet Lunch and Vendor Fair

1:35pm:  Fitness to Work Programs - Pre Job AND Preventative - Join Senior Ergonomist Donald MacDonald as he encourages us to look at the benefits of assessing the health of our workers before they have an injury.

2:35pm:  Vendor Fair and Networking

3:00pm:  Vehicle Incidents - Impacts on Organisations:  The AMA's Ron Wilson will be joining us to talk about vehicle incidents and to give us some ideas about how to reduce those numbers.


There are a few places left in our vendor fair.
