Bruno Gagné

From 1995 to 2012, he was the Fire Chief, Safety & Training Officer for McCain Foods (Canada) in Grand Falls, New Brunswick. Bruno held the position of Chairman of the Joint Health and Safety Committee for 12 years.

He performed the inspections of all fire-fighting equipment on the complex and dealt with insurance representatives in all aspects of fire prevention. He provided trainings to members of the fire brigade and specialized fire training (i.e., hot works procedures, fire extinguisher operation, etc.) to employees, as required.

In 2008, he started Workplace Safety School of New Brunswick Inc., a training facility where he offers trainings on workplace safety aspects to the general public, industries, cities, villages, fire departments and contractors.

This is some of the trainings that Bruno took to become an instructor:  Train the trainer with St-John Ambulance (January 1990), WorkSafe NB train the trainer program (May 1995), American Institute of Baking (March 2008), NBCC Miramichi Fire Fighter Level 1 trainer (August 1996), Industrial lift truck train the trainer program (February 2007), Nova Scotia Fire Service Professional Qualifications Board, Fire Service Instructor 1 (May 2014).  He is also a trainer for New Brunswick Forest Safety Association (NBFSA) for the past 12 years.

He resides in Drummond NB, with his family.
