The South Saskatchewan CSSE Chapter will be holding a Swift Current chapter meeting April 9th 11:30am-1:00pm at the Modern Family Restaurant ( 49 Central Ave N, Swift Current, SK)
Gord Moker, CEO of Safe Saskatchewan will be doing a presentation on the Mission: Zero Charter. As a response to quelling our provincial unintentional injury epidemic, the Saskatchewan Health & Safety Leadership Charter was created to enlist the help of Saskatchewan’s leaders to put an end to the pain and suffering caused by preventable injuries.
By advancing health & safety efforts in, and away from the workplace, guided by the Charter principles, and by endorsing Mission: Zero and the philosophy that the only acceptable number of injuries is ZERO, Charter signatory leaders will be instrumental in influencing a cultural transformation in Saskatchewan, and helping to position injury prevention as a core value.
The 10th Annual Charter event is being held at Prairieland Park in Saskatoon on Thursday, June 13, 2019. Gord Moker, CEO of Safe Saskatchewan, a registered not-for-profit organization led by a consortium of public, private, co-operative, and non-profit sector strategic partners, will provide insight into the value Swift Current and area leaders will see by attending this 2019 event, and signing the Charter on behalf of their employees, their families, and the community.”
