Erin will share her expertise and insights on ethics and morality with their impacts on decision making. She will discuss the role ethics and morality play in the health and safety profession and what it means for the future state of the industry in relation to ethics.
Speaker: Erin Standen, B.A., CRSP, PMP, RSO
Erin Standen is a Project Manager and Safety Specialist at EHS Partnerships Ltd. with over 10 years of experience in occupational health and safety – working in both the public and private industries as well as with a Certifying Partner for the Alberta Certificate of Recognition (COR) program. She has two Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Calgary in Communications Studies and Political Science. Erin is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP), Project Management Professional (PMP), and a Radiation Safety Officer (RSO).
Her areas of expertise include health and safety management systems, auditing, project management, program development and implementation, and quality assurance. She has extensive experience in hazard assessment, inspections, development and delivery of safety training, incident investigation, communications, and contractor management.
Ms. Standen is a certified external health and safety auditor for the Alberta Association for Safety Partnerships (AASP), Energy Safety Canada (formerly Enform), and the Alberta Municipal Health and Safety Association (AMHSA).
She is a member of the ASHSP Practice Review Committee (PRC) and an active Director and volunteer with her local community association in Calgary.
