BCRSP

The Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals sets certification standards for occupational health and safety professionals.

A year ago, the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP) and the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering (CSSE) announced major progress towards greater organizational collaboration. Four commitments were outlined:

Create a structure to formalize and coordinate the effective collaboration of BCRSP and CSSE.
Position BCRSP as the certifying body and CSSE as the member services organization, providing education, professional development and resources.
Collaborate and coordinate efforts to support the regulation of the safety profession in Canada.
Identify and streamline areas of overlap between BCRSP and CSSE.
