Occupational Health Nurse & Safety Advisor

We have an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Health Nurse to join our team!

If you are someone who enjoys development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of employee health programs, this role is for you! The Occupational Health Nurse (OHN) coordinates and delivers a variety of health promotion, injury, illness, and disease prevention services to IH employees. We collaborate with other team members, departments and external partners to support IH’s mission, vision, and strategic directives. Our Workplace Health and Safety department is growing its expertise and is looking for brilliant minds to add to our team to increase the shared knowledge and proficiency in supporting IH to keep our workers safe!

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a practicing member of the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP) in good standing.
• An Occupational Health Nurse Certificate OHN(C) is required.
• A current BCCDC Immunization certification.
• A minimum of three years of experience in nursing with experience in Occupational Health Nursing, Occupational Health and Safety, Public Health, or Infection Control Nursing.
